(19,44%) va thap nhat la huyen Ddng Hy (11,62%).
28 mlu Salmonella dem dinh typ, cd 13 mau la S. choleraesuis chiem ty le 46,43%, 15
mlu la S. enteritidis ^53,57%) va 1 mlu la S. typhimurium (3,57%).

SUMMARY
An investigation of realized on 8,565 piglets in the province of Thai Nguyen indicated
that 1,069 were affected by diarrhea, among the diseased piglets, the highest prevalence
was found in under 21 days old animals and the lowest prevalence was found in the piglets
from 61 to 90 days old.
The seasonality was also observed, the condition occurred mainly in Spring and Summer.
Among 516 examined samples, Salmonella was isolated in 83 ones representing 16.08%.
Locality where the bacterium was most frequently isolated was the Song Cong district
(19.44%) and the least frequently was the district of Dong Hy.
The typing of 28 isolates indicated that 13 samples (46.43%) were S. choleraesuis, 15
isolates were S. enteritidis and 1 isolate (3.57%) was S. typhimurium.
