In the case of deeper and deeper mining activities, the
transportation operation by shaft hoisting winch will become
more and more important. Therefore, the evaluation of the
efficiency in the power consumption as well as the development
of the advanced technical solutions for the hoisting winch have
been considered as an important task and needed to be
significantly paid attention to. The research and application
of the control frequency converter for the shaft hoisting winch
at Khe Cham coal joint stock company have gained many
actual effects which have been considered as a basis for
further its application to other underground coal mining
units belonging to Vinacomin for the energy efficiency
and consen/ation and the increase of the equipment operation
skill
