Logic Module, MDRC
The logic module can be used to solve a varied
range of project-specific control tasks. Up to three of
the following functions can be implemented at
the same time: logic gate, filter, time delay, multiplier,
min/max value detector, comparator, toggle values,
limit supervision, format converter, switch sequences,
scenes, in-/decrementation of values, staircase
ligthing.

Control, Logic and Time
Radio Time Switch, 4-channel, MDRC
The radio time switch receives the time signal from the
DCF 77 transmitter (antenna FA/A 2.1 is required).
The time and date are sent to synchronise other bus
devices on the ABB i-bus®.
The radio timer provides timed switching in a daily,
weekly and yearly program of electrical load groups
via the ABB i-bus®. Each channel can switch a load
group ON or OFF or send a bright ness value to dimming
actuators. The programming of the switching times is
carried out on the clock or via the PC in connection with
the memory card PK/E 1.1 and the programming set
PS/E 1.1.

FW/S 4.5. The time signal from the DCF 77 transmitter
can be received within a radius of approx. 1000 km
around Frankfurt.

Programming Set and Memory Card
The programming set contains a CD ROM with the
Obelisk software for the creation of switching programs
for the timers SW/S 4.5 and FW/S 4.5, a memory card
PK/E 1.1 for transferring switching programs and for
data security, a programming adapter for the memory
card for connection to a PC (RS 232) and a manual.

Time Switch, 2-channel, MDRC
Provides timed switching in a weekly program of
electrical load groups via the ABB i-bus®. Each
channel can switch a load group ON or OFF or send
a brightness value to dimming actuators. 24 memory
locations with configurable block formation of
weekdays.

Application Unit, MDRC
The application unit can be loaded with different
applications using the ETS software in order to
implement various functions required in intelligent
building control such as logic operations, time delays,
logging and time programs with weekly and daily
routines.

The application unit, logic allows the
compilation of complex logical functions by
simply combining different logic elements
and gates using a graphical user interface.
The user interface is an ETS plug-in and does not
require additional software. The device contains
50 logical elements, 50 gates, 30 timer modules and
10 comparators.

Application Unit, Time, MDRC
The application unit, time contains
a yearly time clock program with
15 daily routines (800 switching events),
a weekly schedule and allowance for 100 special days.
Additionally, the unit can control up to 300 EIB / KNX
participants in 30 macro groups, that can be triggered
using a single command. In this way each time
controlled switching event can cause a series of actions
within the installation to be carried out. Using the PZM
software, the time clock can easily be adjusted without
the use of the ETS-Software.
