REVIEW OF THE STATUS OF MEDICAL EXAMINATION AND TREATMENT IN

HEALTHCARE CENTER OF NGU HIEP COMMUNE, THANH TRI DISTRICT, HANOI CITY

Medical Examination and Treatment is one of emphasis missions of communal healthcare center

and one of criteria for communal healthcare service in compliance with National Standards.

Objectives: (1) To report outcomes of diagnosis and care in healthcare center of Ngu Hiep commune,

Thanh Tri district, Hanoi. (2) To analyze some factors influencing on Medical Examination and

Treatment at communal healthcare center. Methods: Retrospective cross - sectional study combined

with quantitative and qualitative for 130 sick people who came to healthcare center of Ngu Hiep

commune within 04 weeks before the day of survey. Results: The number of sick people in first six

months of year 2009 at the healthcare center was 1560. Rate of patients going to the center for

Medical Examination and Treatment with medical insurance enrolled at healthcare center of the

commune took 29.5%. Personnel of the healthcare center: 5 healthcare officials/ 1 center. Medical

equipments fails 33.3%. Drugs fails 37.5% comparing with provision. Conclusion: Based on result of

researching, the authors have given some suggestions in order to be able to improve activities of

Medical Examination and Treatment at healthcare center of commune Ngu Hiep, Thanh Tri, Hanoi.
