ABSTRACT
Electric-spark processing method in general and CNC electric-spark wire cutting processing
methods in particular has been applied a long time. It is known as one of the important technological
solutions of modern machining. The method has many advantages and relatively high economic
efficiency. A lot of different surface types can be processed by this method with high accuracy. Especially,
it also allows to process materials having high rigidity without any obstacles. However, one of the main
factors deciding economic efficiency of the processing methods that is how to establish reasonable
technological parameters to both ensure product quality and improve machining productivity. This paper
presents the research results from the experimental processing on 320EDM CNC electric-spark wire
cutting machine to offer the set of appropriate technological parameter on the machine to help increase
productivity.
