TÓM TẮT

Trí tuệ cảm xúc được xem là nhân tố dự đoán sự thành công và là nhân tố mang lại hạnh phúc cho

con người nên có ý nghĩa quan trọng trong quá trình phát triển của sinh viên đặc biệt là sinh viên

điều dưỡng. Bài báo đề cập đến mức độ trí tuệ cảm xúc và tìm hiểu một số nguyên nhân ảnh

hưởng đến sự phát triển trí tuệ cảm xúc của sinh viên đại học điều dưỡng chính quy Trường Đại

học Điều dưỡng Nam Định. 420 sinh viên đại học điều dưỡng chính quy trường đại học điều

dưỡng Nam Định được làm test trắc nghiệm EQ của Bar-On (1997). Phân tích kết quả cho thấy:

Trí tuệ cảm xúc của sinh viên đại học điều dưỡng chính quy đa số ở mức trung bình (78,1%), tỷ lệ

kém (4,3%), mức cao (17,6%). N ng lực nhận thức và bày t cảm xúc của sinh viên tốt h n n ng

lực thấu hiểu và quản lý cảm xúc bản thân. Các nguyên nhân được sinh viên đánh giá là có ảnh

hưởng đến sự phát triển trí tuệ cảm xúc: cao nhất là giáo dục của gia đình và nhu cầu, mong muốn

nâng cao trí tuệ cảm xúc của bản thân; thấp nhất là nghề nghiệp của cha mẹ và di truyền từ cha mẹ.

Kết quả này là tài liệu tham khảo cho sinh viên và nhà trường có kế hoạch phù hợp giúp sinh viên

t ng cường n ng lực trí tuệ cảm xúc.

LEVEL OF EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE AMONG FULL-TIME

STUDENTS AT NAM DINH UNIVERSITY OF NURSING

ABSTRACT

Emotional intelligence is considered as a predictor of success and a factor that brings happiness to

people, therefore it is important in the development process of students, especially nursing

students. The article deals with the level of emotional intelligence and explores some of the causes

affecting the emotional intelligence development of full time nursing students at Nam Dinh

University of Nursing. 420 full time nursing students at Nam Dinh University of Nursing were

tested using Bar-On EQ test (1997). The results showed that: EQ level of the students are mostly at

average level (78.1%), low level (4.3%), high level (17.6%). Students’ ability to perceive and

express their emotions is better than their ability to understand and manage their emotions.

According to the students, the most influential factors influencing the development of their

emotional intelligence is family education and their own need and desire to improve emotional

intelligence; the least influential one is occupations of their parents and the biological inheritance.

This result served as a reference for students and the university to have an appropriate plan for

strengthening students’ emotional intelligence.
