TÓM TẮT

Mục tiêu: xác định một số đặc điểm của khuôn mặt đẹp của thanh niên

Việt Nam.

Thiết kế nghiên cứu: cắt ngang mô tả.

Đối tượng: 253 sinh viên Y1, Y2 và RHM2 đang học tai Đại Học Y Dược

Tp Hồ Chí Minh tuổi từ 18 đến 22.

Phương pháp:Bước 1 đo đạc các chỉ số nhân chủng học chính trên khuôn

các đối tượng nghiên cứu. Bước 2: phân tích đặc điểm khuôn mặt đẹp qua so sánh

hai nhóm đối tượng điểm cao (> 5 điểm) và điểm thấp (< 5 điểm).

Kết luận: Khuôn mặt được đánh giá cao có sống mũi cao hơn, nền mũi hẹp

hơn, mắt to hơn so với khuôn mặt điểm thấp. Đồng thời khuôn mặt đẹp có ba tầng

mặt gần bằng nhau. Kết quả phân tích đa biến cho thấy có 2 nhóm chỉ số khuôn mặt

và tỉ lệ giúp dự đoán chính xác khuôn mặt đẹp với độ tin cậy 70%.

Summary

Objectives: To assess the differences in facial proportions between highly

rated and low rated Vietnameses to determine some characteristics of the Asian

beauty.

Design: Anthropometric survey and facial aesthetic evaluation.

Participants: Volunteer sample of 253 students from University of

Medicine and Pharmacy, HCMC. All subjects were between 18 and 22 years

and had Vietnamese parents and no previous facial surgery or trauma.

Intervention: For part 1 of the study, standardized and referenced frontal

and lateral photographs were taken of the models, and 28 standard anthropometric

measurements were determined. For part 2 of the study, 8 judges evaluated frontal

views of the models for facial aesthetics using a visual analog scale. Quantitative

analysis was done of the faces of more pretty Vietnameses(over 5 of aesthetic

scores) and comparisons were made with the other faces (below of 5 aesthetic

scores).

Conclusions: The prettier face has some measurements differed from the

lower scored subjects. They also matched some stadards from the westerner’s

golden criteria of beauty. We also found out two groups of anthropometric and

ratio to quickly predict the prettier face.
