ABSTRACT
This paper presents results of applied research in computerized tomography (CT) and 3D
designing software - Solidworks ftir constructing 3D models that simulated shapes, structures and
sizes of Vietnamese female student. In this study, we have chosen objects are 12femdle aged from
18 to 24 who have the same body shape (straight shape), the suitable body dimensions with set
of parameters of standard body dimensions. Constructed the digital data of body surfaces by 3D
body Scanner and images of the lower body taken by CT Scanner, the 3D models are composed
of two main parts that are bones and outer layer of soft tissues. The study results help create the
database for designing textile products, fabricating medical models, bone replacement or implants
and surgical support tools.
