ABSTRACT

Presentation skill is very important that significantly affects the effectiveness of using

language. At the moment, the reality shows that students who have studied English field at

Faculty of Foreign Languages (FFL) in general and students studying in Industrial

University in Ho Chi Minh city (IUH) in particular almost have to make a lot of

presentations during their study at IUH. However, students at FFL in IUH still face many

obstacles that prevent them from creating a successful presentation, and one of them is using

body language. This research focuses on studying the difficulties that students face when

using body language in presentations. Moreover, from the results obtained, the researcher

can suggest some solutions to help students improve the ability to use body language in the

presentations.
