Abstract: In 2019, the organization and development of the Party have been aggressively and

synehrcnously implemented by party unions and government of Dong Thap Province with a num￾ber of Important measures, such as continuing the implementation of Resolution of 4th plenary

meeting of the 12th Central Committee, Resolution of 7th plenary meeting of the 12th Central

Committee on enhancement of staff qualifications, preparations for meetings of party unions at

various levels toward meetings of the 13th Central Committee, etc.in which, the implementation

of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW of 6th plenary meeting of the 12th Central Committee on continuing

the renovation, arrangement, and organization of the political system in an effective, efficient, and

streamlined manner has achieved remarkable outcomes with many important results. However,

there are still some limitations in the organization of the political system in a streamlined manner

in Dong Thap Province over the past years. This paper analyzes and proposes a number of solu￾tions to Improve the organizational structure of the politieai system in association with staff down￾sizing policy of Dong Thap Province.
