Ensuring social security for ethrue minorities is a fundamental solution for sustainable

poverty reduction, Improvement of tbe hving standard ofthe people, and social, pohtical

stabiUty. Tbe comprehensive, complete system of sodal securitypolldes&ir ethnic minorities

has improved the material, spiritual life of ethnic minorities over the past years. However,

besides tbe achievements, the implementation ofthe social security policies for ethnic

minorities has revealed shortcomings which have affeded tbe poUcy outcomes, limited tbe

access to sodal security, and hindered the ethnic minorities ffom enjoying social security.
