I.Objectives:

- At the end of the lesson Ss will be able to communicate in buying food and drink,

talk about quantities of food or something.

II. Preparation.

-Pictures.

III. Procedure:

1. Warm up:

- Get Ss to look at part A1-b and guess

meaning of these words.

- Call some Ss to say.

- Then teacher leads into new lesson.

2. Presentation:

*Introduce the quantities and names

of some foods and some objects:

- Gets Ss to look at the picture in A1b

in the textbook and introduce new

words

- Guide Ss to get meaning of new

words base on the pictures.

- Teacher reads new words once.

- Guide Ss to read new words.

- Let them read new words in silence.

- Call some to read new words.

- Checks Ss reading.

-Checking vocab: ‘Matching’

3. Practice:

*Practice buying food and drink:

- Gets Ss to look at the picture in

textbook and guess the situation of it

(The situation is between a storekeeper

and Mrs., Vui - a customer).

- Teacher reads part A1a once.

- Guide Ss to read once.

- Get them to read it in pairs in silence.
