ABSTRACT

In this paper, the authors perform the computation to simulate the behavior of spine screw mom

used in the surgical treatment of injury, deformity ofthe spine. The designs of spine screw are referred jm^

the imported ones and modified in some details to conform to the domestic ability of manufacture am

materials. Moreover, the modifications for screw pitch and angle are performed to enhance self-braki^

ability and reduce the radial reaction that makes the screw break down during the tightening and wsi"S

process. The suggested spine screw designs are manufactured and tested to ensure the good worldJ^

capability.
