ABSTRACT
Todeterminethe correlation betweenthe leveloffeed energyto bodyweightand meat
quality of semi intensive France muscovy duck, the authors of this article research on
the experimental arrangement adopted in 1050 France meat Muscovy duck, divided
5 batches, each batch of 70 birds, 35 males, 35 females, repeat 3 times, with densities
energy decreases from 1 to5:290012800/2700/2600/2500 kcal/kg 1-3 weeks period,
3050/2950/2850/2750/2650 kcal/kg 4:7 weeks period; 3150/3050/2950/2850/2750
kcal/kg period 8-12 weeks of age, all batches are the same levels of crude protein at 3
correspondin g periods w as 1 8/ 1 6/ 150/o:
Results showed that lowering the energy density of feed intake, the growth of
France Muscovy duck down, live weight at 12 weeks of age was highest in plot I
(3587.26 g), the lowest in plot V (3142.55 g), density energies of feed did not affect
the protein ratio of meat, but lipid rations of meat increased proportionally to the
energy in the diet. The relationship between dietary energy levels with live weight
of France Muscovy duck were positively correlated and close. Correlation coefficient
between dietary metabolizable energy densitiEs and muscle'chemical composition
were mostly positive, the male is closer than that of female.

1. INTRODUCTION
Energy density of feeds affects performance and quality of poultry meat. However, the impact
of how each type of poultry farming in different conditions have not been fully studied. To find
out the correlation belween the .rergy levels in the diet with body weight and meat quality French
Muscovy duck keeping in semi intensive, we carried out this topic.
2. MATERIALS AND METHODS
21 Location
The experiment was conducted at the experimental farm in College of Agriculture and Forestry,
Thai Nguyen University, Viet Nam.
2.2 Methodology
The experiment was arranged in a subdivision method compared to ensure equitable principles
of variety, age, number, sexes, density, breeding methods and processes of care. The different
experimental factors such as the levels of energy.
