Many, the important issues were discussed and decided in
Government's regular meeting of October:
Responding to fhie widespread devastation caused by severe flooding
in Central provinces, people all over the country and overseas compatriots as well as international communities have showed their sympathy and
given supports in both spiritual and material terms, helping flood victims
gradually overcome difficulties, repair the damage, restore and sfabilize
production and lives. The Government requests all ministries, branches,
localities fo keep on deploy measures to overcome difficulties brought
about by the flood, promptly restore social and economic infrastructures
as well as environment...
In October and first ten months of 2010, the economic growth rates
were quite high, macro economy was improved; development investments were continued to be accelerated; export gained high growth rate,
trade deficit continued to fall. Industrial production, agricultural production
and sen/ice sector achieved rather high growth pace. Social security kept
on fo be ensured... Nevertheless, the economy has fo face not a small
number of challenges and difficulties.
In the last two months of 2010, all ministries, branches and localities
should closely monitor complicated fluctuations in the world market to
propose appropriate policies and measures in timely manner; to concentrate on guidance over drastic implementation of measures set forth in the
Government's previuos resolutions, to intensify implementation of measures
to sfabilize price and market, all for striving for accomplishing socio-economic development plan of 2010.
