The resources of fruit crop in Vietnam
• The fruit crops in Vietnam are investigated in the
26 plant families. There are more than 150 species
and more than 1500 planting cultivars.
• Fruit crops in Vietnam are divided 3 groups :
Temperate fruit crop: Apricot, plum, apple,
peach…
Sub-tropical fruit crop: Persimmon, litchi, longan,
citrus….
Tropical fruit crop: bananas, pineapple, mango,
jack-fruit…
