C-02 DRAW WITH LINES: Lines visually separate and/or define the forms, shapes, and

patterns of the various components of a drawing. This lesson illustrates and demonstrates how to

identify and draw the three families of lines, straight, angle, and curved, which are the basic

building blocks of drawing.

Four worksheets offer a total of sixteen fun exercises designed to help you incorporate various

combinations of different lines and shapes into drawings. Shapes are the outward contours or

outlines of forms or figures. Basic shapes include circles, ovals, squares, and rectangles.

You need an HB or 2B pencil, a vinyl eraser, and drawing paper.

This project is recommended for artists and aspiring artists of all ages, as well as

home schooling, academic and recreational fine art educators.
