Caùc tính töø ñöôïc thaønh laäp töø hieän taïi phaân töø ( present participle) neâu leân caûm giaùc

ngöôøi hoaëc vaät taïo ra.

Ví duï

I was very interested in the lesson ( Toâi thích baøi haùt ñoù)

The lesson is interesting. ( Baøi hoïc thuù vò / Baøi hoïc laøm cho toâi thích thuù.)

Do you ever get bored at work? (Baïn coù bao giôø buoàn chaùn vôùi coâng vieäc ko?)

My job is very boring. ( Coâng vieäc cuûa toâi thaät buoàn chaùn / Coâng vieäc gaây cho toâi

buoàn chaùn )

Döôùi ñaây laø moät soá caùc tình töø chæ thaùi ñoä thoâng duïng.

1. Excited ( about/ at/ by) feling or showing happiness and enthsiasm

 I am excited about the trip to Hawaii.

 We are all excited at her decision to let us go to America.

Exciting: causing great interest or excitement

 The trip to Hawaii is exciting.

 Her decision to let us go to America is exciting.

2. Amused (at/ by) thinking that something is funny so that you smile or laugh.

 We were all amused at his stories.

 He was amused to see how seriously she took the game.

Amusing: funny and enjoyable

 His stories are amusing.

 She writes very amusing letters.

3. Surprised ( at/ by) felling or showing suprise

 I was surprised at her attitude towards me.

 We are surprised to hear the new.

Surprising: causing surprise.

 It’s surprising what people will do for money.

 That he will come back is quite surprsing.

4. Embarrassed (about/ at)

 She’s embarrassed about her height.

 He felt embarrassed at being the center of attention,

 Some women are too embarrassed to consult their doctors about their health problem.

 Her remark was followed by an embarrassed silence.

 I’ve felt so embarrassed in my life !

Embarrassing: making you fell shy or ashamed.

 It was so embarrassing having to sing in public.

 Talking to a doctor about tht is so embarrassing.

 It can be embarrassing for her to be treated like tht in front of other people.

5. Frustrated (at/ with) not satisfied, felling annoyed or impatient because you cannot do or

achieve what you want.

 It is easy to get frustrated in this job.

 They felt frustrated at the loss of progress.

Frustrating: causing you to feel annoyed and impatient because you cannot do or achieve

what you want.
