Internal management model for Thanh Ha litchi geographical indication

Internal management model for litchi geographical indicator constructing in the cadre of Thanh Ha

litchi association, is a system of management organization and is divided in 4 different levels

(association level, sub - association level, group level and members level)

The model operates on the common base through the articles of regulations “Quality management

of product”. The used tools in managing are: 1. Monitoring form system of production regulation

implementing, 2. Evaluating certificate of litchi grove quality before reaping, 3. Control certificate of

fresh litchi quality, 4. Indicator system in classing fresh litchi quality.

The condition for sustaining model are organizing the special channels for Thanh Ha litchi having

GI which selling price is more than from 300 vnd, the association member using GI musts

contribute 20.000 VND/litchi crop, the association members must be confidential, and the Thanh

Ha litchi must be principal income.

Geographical indicator internal management basing on the regulation with the main contents:

monitoring times, contents, tools and implementing time of monitoring, implementing steps of

monitoring.
