1. The only thing I don't like about this house is that it faces north, so it is difficult to
heat it in winter.

dubious penalty.

football fans still tried to start a riot.

3. I'd recommend you to hire a professional to do the decoration of your house instead
of doing it on your own.
A. Of course, a professional may do a better job on your house, though it is not too
difficult for you to do it yourself.
B. I can't see why you didn't hire a professional instead of trying to decorate the house
by yourself.
C. In my opinion, the result would be much nicer if you were to employ a professional
to paint your house.

entries in the competition.

with hers being chosen the best.
