FOREWORDS

Nowadays, mobile communication has widely developed all over the world and

has been continually perfected with new techniques. However, noise is still a

major problem in the signal processing of mobile communication system. A

new tecnique has recently been introduced to solve this problem, that is the

Neural Networks equalizer.

Neural Networks is a new field of technology and science that suggests models

chacteristic of artificial intelligence. Neural Networks can train tracking bit

sequences of signals for noise suppression.

Our thesis aims to present theory and simulation by means of computer

technology. Within the scope of this thesis, we experimented on the convenient

MATLAB -- a sofware that has been used extensively in mathematics, digital

signal processing and automatic control -- for noise suppression.

Completed in 4 months’ time, our thesis is far from being perfect. It certainly

contains lot of defects and limitations. We are therefore looking forward to

receiving suggestions from our teachers and friends.
