ABSTRACT
In recent years, domestic car manufacturers have assembled many large buses. Research
and development to increase comfort for people sitting on cars is always a matter of concern,
in which noise and vibration are indicators to assess vehicle quality. In order to evaluate and
improve the structure of the bus body, the specific vibration determination ofeigenmodes and areas
of resonant frequency is an important step in the noise and vibration study process and that is a
matter of concern. The paper presents some studied results of vibration of the body and the space
inside the bus body of the 45-seat bus assembly in Vietnam. This study focuses on building of noise
and vibration model to determine the eigenmodes and individual oscillation frequency of bus body,
as a basis for the noise and vibration analysis of bus.
