In two days of 3rd and 4th August 2010, the Government held its reg￾ular meeting of July, discussing and deciding the following issues:

Economic situation in July and first seven months of 2010 continued to

changed in positive direction and gained quite comprehensive achieve￾ments in all fields. Especially, foreign affairs obtained impressive results

with successful organization of ASEAN ministerial meetings. Key missions

in the last months of 2010 are to concentrate on stabilizing macro econ￾omy, to promptly elaborate 201 Is Plan and 2011-2015 five year Plan.

With regard to Vinashin Group, the Government has intention to take

comprehensive restructuring of the Group with direct support from state

economic sector and from financial and credit institutions to maintain

and gradually stabilize and develop this Group, aiming at repaying its

debts, increasing its efficiency towards its key role in the shipbuilding

sector.

Also in this meeting, the Government discussed and gave opinion on

two big Projects including Project on Solutions, policies fo improve growth

quality, efficiency and competitiveness of the economy and Project on

early fuming Vietnam into a strong information technology and commu￾nication country; discussed and gave approval to several reports, reso￾lution draffs and law projects.
