SUMMARY:

Kidney transplants from brain dead donor in Viet

Dire Hospital: The first six cases.

Purpose: In Viet Nam now kidney transplant is a

routine surgery In a large number of surgical centers.

However the source organs fmm living people. The Viet￾Due hospital perform first surgery took organs from brain

dead of three patients and successful transplants for six

patients meeiving kidney. Fmm 6 cases of

transplantation, we summarize the msults of kidney

transplants, kidney transplants fmm brain dead people.

Materials and Methods: pmspective study on six

patients with mnal tmnsplant, kidney transplants from

brain dead people. Period from May 2010 to May

10/2010. Results: six tmnsplant patients am achieving

good msults. No complications during and after

operation. Conclusion: With the initial success msults

fmm the first six cases, we have confirmed the surgical

techniques for kidney transplants fmm bmin dead people

as weH as pmcess monitoring and tmatment after mnal

transplantation.
