Purpose: Clarifying agent, dietary supplement,
nutrient supplement, processing aid, stabilizer.
Where Used: Baking mixes, cereals, infant
foods, pasta products, wine.

8315, 184.1315. GRAS when used in accordance with good manufacturing practice. BATF
- 27CFR 240.1051. Limitation of 3 ounces/1000
gallons of wine.

SAFETY PROFILE: Poison by intravenous, intraperitoneal, and subcutaneous routes. Moderately toxic by ingestion. Mutagenic data. When
