Introduction
❖Electroless nickel is a nickel phosphorus alloy which
can be deposited onto metallic substrates.
❖Electroless nickel plating is a chemical process which
reduces nickel ions in solution to nickel metal by
chemical reduction without using electric current.
❖The chemical and physical properties of the coating
can vary with phosphorus content and subsequent heat
treatment.
