In the recent two years, after a long time of learning and studying, the author of

this thesis would like to express the best gratefulness to those who supports the author to

complete this thesis.

First of all, I would like thank the School Managing Boards of Meiho University,

Taiwan and Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry, Vietnam, directors of Business

Administration departments of Meiho University, Dr.Ron Chuen Yeh and HUI Dr. Pham

Minh Tuan and Dr. Vo Phuoc Tan for creating me the best conditions for studying and

accessing to study materials and research documents at libraries of two universities

during my time studying Business Administration master 2009-2010.

Next, I would like to send my sincere thanks to Professors, Doctors for your

lectures and instructions to help me have deeper understanding and continue the research

in the future.

The author wishes to express my special thanks to my instructors, Professor Dr.

completing the survey to provide the data for completing this thesis.

Developing Organizational Culture

in Thanh Cong Garment Company

ABSTRACT

This study aims at defining the type of organizational culture at Thanh Cong

Company at the present and survey the type of culture which is preferred by the people

in the future.

This study is also to survey the conception and behavior of the management staffs

to find out the strength/weakness of the culture of the company at the present.

Finally, the study is to evaluate the management skills of the management staffs.

Comparing the difference regarding to the conception of the importance of these

management skills and the self-evaluation on their skills at present .The data collected

from the survey will be analyzed and presented on the radar chart by excel software. This

study will use the quantitative method basing on the classification of << Frame of

competitiveness value >> and OCAI and MSAI tools of Cameron and Quinn.

Finally, this study will propose solutions for perfecting the management skills and

increase the management effectiveness in the future. Develop the culture stronger. This

method can be also applied in other companies and organizations.
