Gay nhilm au trung cam nhilm Haemonchus contortus (H.contortus) cho 4 be nghe,

ket qua cho thay: Be nghe sau gay nhilm bdt dau thai trUng d ngay thU 23 - 25 vdi so'

The characteristics of disease caused by

infecting Haemonchus contortus larvae to calves

SUMMARY

Infecting 4 calves by larvae of Haemonchus contortus, the results showed that:

The calves began to discharge the worm eggs after 23-25 days with the stable number of

egg per gram in feces after 60 days of infection.

The main observed symptoms were: eating reduced, anorexia, dry skin, rough hair coat,

pale membrane, diarrhea and edema.

The change of hematology examination showed that: the number of erythrocyte and

hemoglobine declined, the number of leucocyte increased, neutrophil reduced and

eosinophil highly increased.

The most characteristics lesions were seen in stomach and small intestine but mainly in

abomasum
