I completely agree that the college years are the best time in a person’s life. Actually, college

often correspondents with a time when people are young, healthy and physically strong. Those

attributes are held in high regard in any cultures. Obviously, college years are also viewed as a

period of high stress and certain hardships and trials, but there are several pleasures that put

college years on the book of unforgettable memories.

Pleasures converge on college from many directions. First, this is an important turning￾point in choosing a major field to study, ultimately, to select a career, choice that will affect the

rest of student’s life. This is also the first time he has had enough manner and capacity to make

his own decision on future, to prepare himself and by himself for making his choice a success

later. May be, the pleasure of freedom in choice is a valuable encouragement that motivates

him to go ahead to better his life.

For another thing, although the workload in college is pretty heavy, there is no pressure to

get work on schedule. It is really easy to put off studying in the beginning of each semester and

work hard later so long as he can catch up on his assignment. This is very preferable to student

who works his way through college.

In addition to academic pleasures, the one of being partially financially independent is highly

appreciated. At college years, student is supposed to be mature, intellectually capable enough

for working and earning his own way so as to free himself from asking money for money, the

circumstances are rather uncomfortable to any students. To take part –time job, he may create

chances to apply, consolidate what he has learned at school, simultaneously, to improve his

knowledge by practicing and learning more in realily.

A college student myself, I view this time of life as an opportunity to prepare for the next, to

get used to self-reliant life. If I can go through my college years successfully, a prospect of

being a well-to-do man will open widely to for me.(349 words)
