中 国 人 的 家 庭 观 念

Zhōngguó rén de jiā tíng guānniànhĕn qiáng。 Zhè yǔ zhōngguó jĭ qiānniánde

中 国 人 的 家 庭 观 念 很 强 。 这 与 中 国 几 千 年 的

chuántǒngguānniànyǒu guān。 Zhōngguó rén tè bié zhòngshì dà jiā tíng 。 Yĭ

The concept of "family" is extremely important to the Chinese people. It is steeped in

thousands of years of Chinese culture and tradition. Large families are especially highly

regarded. In the old days, it was not uncommon to find four generations of family living

under the same roof. These days, it is still possible to find at least three generations

living together. Many people continue to live with their parents after marriage. This

enables them to care for their elders. Likewise, grandparents can help care for their

grandchildren. Respect for the aged and love for young children are regarded as

traditional virtues of the Chinese people. A happy and harmonious family is greatly

respected and admired. In recent years, more and more young married couples have

chosen to live apart from their parents. However, they still frequently visit their parents,

especially during important festivals such as the Mid-autumn Festival and the Spring

Festival.

" Zì xíng chē wángguó”"

" 自 行 车 王 国 "

Zhōngguó shì zì xíngchē de wángguó . Zài zhōngguó , zì xíngchē yòu chēng

中 国 是 自 行 车 的 王 国 。 在 中 国 ， 自 行 车 又 称

" jiăo tà chē ” huò “ dān chē " . Dào běi jīng lǚ yóu de wài guó

“ 脚 踏 车 ” 或 “ 单 车 ” 。 到 北 京 旅 游 的 外 国

rén , kě yĭ dào zhuānmén chū zū zì xíng chē de dì fāngzū yòngzì xíng

人 ， 可 以 到 专 门 出 租 自 行 车 的 地 方 租 用 自 行

chē . Zài huá chángqī gōngzuò de wài guó rén , yǒu bù shăohái gòu

车 。 在 华 长 期 工 作 的 外 国 人 ， 有 不 少 还 购

măi le zì xíng chē . Běi jīng de zì xíng chē suī rán hěn duō , dàn

买 了 自 行 车 。 北 京 的 自 行 车 虽 然 很 多 ， 但

yǒu màn xíng dào kě yĭ xíng shĭ , shí jì shàngbĭ jiào ān quán. Zì

有 慢 行 道 可 以 行 驶 ， 实 际 上 比 较 安 全 。 自

xíng chē jì kě dài bù yòu néngduànliàn shēntǐ . Yīngdāngzhù yì :

行 车 既 可 代 步 又 能 锻 炼 身 体 。 应 当 注 意 ：

qí chē shàngjiē qián, qǐngyí dìngyào xiān shú xī yí xià běi jīng yǒu

骑 车 上 街 前 ， 请 一 定 要 先 熟 悉 一 下 北 京 有

guānzì xing chē de jiāo tōngguī zé , zhè yàngjiù ān quánduō le .

关 自 行 车 的 交 通 规 则 ， 这 样 就 安 全 多 了 。

"The Bicycle Kingdom"

In Chinese, the bicycle is called "zì xíng chē". It is also known as "jiăo tà chē" or "dān

chē". In Beijing, for example, there are many places that rent out bicycles. Of course,

you can very easily buy one as well. Many foreigners who have been in the country for a

while or who intend to live here for an extended period of time buy their own bicycles.

Riding around Beijing is actually quite safe because there are dedicated bicycle lanes for

cyclists. Cycling is a good way to keep fit and it's a quicker alternative to walking. But,

of course, anyone thinking of cycling on the main roads should first familiarize himself

with the basic road safety rules.
